2K, creators of BioShock, has finally launched the official website for the upcoming BioShock 2. Upon entering your name, an intro reel demonstrates a Rapture we've already come to love. The haunting underwater audiovisuals do not disappoint. The end of the brief introduction leaves behind a creepy Rapture dollhouse to explore.
At the moment, there is not a lot of content on the site, but fans will be treated to some interesting voice acting and two new video previews, one of which shows the fall of Rapture. There are interactive options such as the ability to draw with chalk and to pull the string on an interactive Little Sister doll.
The Community Updates flier gives players access to podcasts and developer diaries while another flier offers access to the forum. BioShock 2 comes to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on February 9, 2010. Fans of the franchise can pre-order the game now at the Take-Two Store. GameStop is also offering pre-orders with the Special Edition.
