Bioshift is one of the newest Hybrid cards from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert "Magic: The Gathering" expansion set "Gatecrash." Featured in the "Simic Synthesis" intro pack, Bioshift is a great tool for Evolve players to add to their deck.
Bioshift - [G/U]
Instant (Common)
Move any number of +1/+1 counters from target creature onto another target creature with the same controller.
"It's all right if you change your mind. There's always a chance we can rearrange parts later."
-Zija, Simic mutationist
Unlike Simic Fluxmage Bioshift moves multiple counters at once, making it an attractive option that can serve multiple roles. A well timed Bioshift can act as removal and screw up your opponent's combat math. Bioshift can also be used to move around counters onto other creatures like Primordial Hydra or Predator Ooze.
For instance, you're able to use Bioshift on your first turn Cloudfin Raptor or Experiment One to transfer all the counters onto Fathom Mage and gain card advantage. Another idea might be to put the counters on Simic Manipulator, allowing you to steal one of your opponent's creatures several turns faster than normal.
How will you use Bioshift?
