Well back to work on this great Monday, now here along the coast preps will start taking place for the Mardi Gras Season which is right around the corner. But we have to get through what looks to be a very busy week of weather.
Tonight: Partly to Mostly Cloudy skies with cooling temps through about 3am, then look for warming to take place by sunrise.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with high temps in the 67F, with moderate southeasterly winds.
Tuesday Night: Cloudy with Thunderstorms, some storms may be strong with gusty winds, low temps around 50F.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy and cooler with high temps around 52F, overnight lows falling to near 28F, allowing for another freeze to setup over the area.
Extended Forecast: A very tricky forecast setting up Thu-Fri with an over running scenario setting up, looks like we should see mostly rain, however I keep seeing a hint of sleet mixing in as well, have to keep watching this event as it gets closer. Saturday night we could be dealing with a round of Severe weather as well.
Busy week ahead stay safe and alert.
