Good Afternoon,

As you head out look for a warming trend through the day and tonight temps should be warmer than right now as they approach the 70F mark.

On the horizon...

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers, a few thunderstorms, heavy rainfall will be possible with totals around 1-2inches likely for many locations. High temps early in the 70's dropping through the day as overnight lows behind the cold front fall to the upper 30's.

Sunday: Partly cloudy and cold high temps in the upper 40's. Overnight lows will be near freezing.

Extended Forecast: A dry period ahead as high pressure dominates the weather for most of next week.

STORM ALERT: A really significant winter storm will take shape around Dec 20th and will have huge impacts on holiday travel plans. There will be a chance that we could see snow on the backside of the storm as well. Behind the front High pressure will be building in and that will bring some very cold air to our region. More to follow in the Storm Blog later this afternoon.
