Taking a look at the weather pattern for anyone going out into the Gulf these next couple of days, high pressure is shifting southward into the Gulf, behind it a frontal boundary is approaching the coastal region, this will be the focus of some showers and thunderstorms over the next 24-48hrs for the region.

Port Conditions: Today partly cloudy with an afternoon thunderstorm, high temps near 89F, while low temps fall to near 72F, winds from the northwest around 7mph and seas near 1ft. Wednesday look for another day of partly cloudy skies along with an isolated thunderstorm, high temps near 89F, low temps around 75F, winds will be light and seas near 1ft.

WayPoint-1 (The Sound): Today Partly cloudy with a thunderstorm possible, high temps around 87F, low temps near 74F, winds from the northwest near 11mph and seas around 1ft. Wednesday partly cloudy with an afternoon thunderstorm, high temps near 87F and low temps around 78F, winds variable around 9mph and seas near 1ft.

WayPoint-2 (Ship Island): Today partly cloudy with an isolated thunderstorm, high temps around 87F, low temps near 74F, winds from the northwest at 11mph, while seas will be near 1ft. Wednesday again partly cloudy with an afternoon thunderstorm, high temps near 86F and low temps around 78F, winds will be variable near 7mph and seas around 1ft.

WayPoint-3 (Northern Gulf) Today partly cloudy with an isolated thunderstorm, high temps around 87F, while low temps will be near 76F, winds from the northwest at 11mph and seas near 1ft. Wednesday partly cloudy with an afternoon thunderstorm, high temps near 85F, low temps around 79F and winds variable 8mph as seas will be near 1ft.
