Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana, is now another American statistic: her parents filed for a divorce today in Tennessee, according to People Magazine. Billy Ray Cyrus and Leticia "Tish" Cyrus have announced publicly that they have irreconcilable differences after 17 years of marriage, describing this as a difficult time for their family.
TMZ reports that Billy Ray Cyrus is the one who actually made the first move to file divorce papers, showing pictures of Tish Cyrus in Los Angeles spending time with her children, sans Miley. The overall impression given by these two TMZ articles is that she is the one being hurt by the divorce, but who really knows?
Miley Cyrus fans will remember in April, 2009, when Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus suprised moviegoers at the Regal's Pinnacle Stadium 18 in West Knoxville. They made an unannounced appearance at the showing of, "Hannah Montana: The Movie." It was an unforgettable experience for many Hannah Montana fans that were packed into the theater.
