It's official, Billy Joel and Katie Lee Joel are getting divorced
In very sad news, Billy Joel and Katie Lee Joel are getting divorced. The rumors are saying Billy Joel found out that Katie Lee has been spending too much time with another man. Katie's alleged other man is a designer named Yigal Azrouel. According to the Enquirer if Katie really cheated on Billy, she will get nothing out of the divorce. They report "He signed Katie Lee to a prenup when they married in 2004, but he's preparing for a nasty $100 million divorce battle!"
A rep for Billy Joel has confirmed he will divorce from Katie Lee Joel. The rep told Radar Online "After nearly five years of marriage Billy Joel & Katie Lee Joel have decided to separate. This decision is a result of much thoughtful consideration. Billy & Katie remain caring friends with admiration and respect for each other."
Billy Joel's daughter, Alexa Ray Joel told OK! magazine that she wasn't very surprised by the news. Alexa commented "I have a pretty good women’s intuition so I could tell," adding "I know my dad very well. So I’m behind him, you know.".
Katie Lee and Billy Joel married on October 2nd, 2004 in Long Island. The couple does not have any children together. Billy Joel is 60 years old and Katie lee is only 27 years old. Did age play a factor in the pair not making it?
