Billy Idol performed at the Caesars Windsor Casino Colosseum on Thursday 9.9.2010. Billy debuted his new line up for this summers tour, which started in Europe and finishes up in North America. Longtime guitarist Steve Stevens, bassist Stephen McGrath, and Keyboardist Derek Sherinian are still aboard. New to the band is acclaimed guitarist Billy Morrison (Camp Freddy & Circus Diablo) and drummer Jeremy Colson (Circus Diablo & Steve Vai).
This Billy Idol tour features different opening acts, and this show we were lucky enough to have SLASH open the show. They were perfect to warm the crowd up for Billy. Slash is not new to touring with Billy, Slash's band Snakepit toured and co-headlined with Billy years ago.
The Colosseum was packed full with fans of all ages. Billy really worked the crowd, and seem to pay extra attention to every woman in the front row. Holding their hands and singing to them, the women went wild, touching him and rubbing his legs and other body parts! Billy did a few outfit changes, and by the end of the show took his shirt off. Billy is in fantastic shape and has the body of a 20 year old stud. Billy passed out autographed set lists, drum sticks, and threw autographed paper plates like frisbees to the fans. The crowd stood the whole show and really went crazy during the songs White Wedding and Rebel Yell.

The set list has been varied for this tour also. The new line up is playing all the classic hits, plus 3 new songs that were written earlier this year and Generation X songs.
