Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top visits Twin Liquors in Austin for a signing

On Friday, February 4th Billy Gibbons, the lead guitarist of ZZ Top, came to Twin Liquors in Austin for a tequila bottle signing. Billy is an investor in the Pura Vida Tequila company and was signing bottles and memorabilia for lucky fans.

ZZ Top is one of the most popular rock bands of all time, performing to sold out concert crowds since the 1970's. Fans brought in record albums such as Rio Grande Mud and Afterburner for Billy to sign. ZZ Top recently played live at the Backyard in Austin and makes tours annually across the United States.

Twin Liquors is a popular retail liquor store in the Austin, Texas area. In the past, other celebrities such as Danny DeVito and Dan Aykroyd have visited the store to meet their fans and sign liquor bottles and collectibles that the fans have brought with them. Bottles of Pura Vida Tequila signed by Mr. Gibbons were available for prices ranging from $35 to $45. Varieties of tequila included Gold, Silver and Anejo.
