Billy DiSilvestro: Missing man from Hamilton, Ohio

Billy DiSilvestro was last seen on Ross Avenue in Hamilton, Ohio on Super Bowl Sunday, February 7, 2011.  His mother Debbie Estes, believes that her son went to a friend's home to watch the game.

Billy tried calling both his mother and grandmother around 2:30 a.m., but they didn't answer.  Debbie believes he was probably looking for a ride home.  She also believes he probably began walking the two miles to his grandmother's home on Stahlheber Road.  The route would have taken him through Milikin Woods.

There has been confusion over who is following up on Bill's disappearance.  Although he was last seen in the city of Hamilton, he was reported missing from his grandmother's home which is in Hanover Township, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Butler County Sheriff's Office.

Most have not heard of Billy DiSilvestro's disappearance, but many have heard of another person missing in the same county, only 5 miles away.  Katelyn Markham from Fairfield, Ohio.

After seeing all the media interest in missing Katelyn case it is understandable why Debbie would be upset that not as much interest is being put into the finding of her son.

Lt. Mike Craft a supervisor at the Butler County Sheriff's Office has said that even thought the media spotlight is on Katelyn's case, they have not forgotten about Billy and are doing extensive work on the investigation.

EquuSearch, the Texas-based nonprofit search and recovery group had a few volunteers walk the path that Billy took through Milikin Woods when they came to search for Katelyn on Saturday, but nothing was found.

If you have any information on either of these cases, please call the sheriff's dept.
