Billy Dee Williams dances to 'Star Wars' on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ (video)

Billy Dee Williams had plenty of help on Monday night when he hit the Dancing With the Stars stage. While the other contestants had just music, the celebrity brought some friends from Star Wars. The opening moves included Stormtroopers and R2-D2 in the middle of the ballroom and the fans loved the performance. According to the Sacramento Observer on Monday the actor is considered the biggest acting legend on the show.

While the star is the oldest celebrity on the show, that didn’t stop him from moving to the music. Giving his best of the moves, it appeared he desperately wanted to be on the show more than a week. Offering up some of his pals from Star Wars definitely will help his plight as the fans adored his performance in every way possible.

The competition on Dancing With the Stars is tough, even for a legendary actor. Billy Dee Williams might have to bring back the characters of the movie series to keep in the competition. Thankfully, ABC owns the rights to the Star Wars franchise so it’s possible to see more of the movie characters inserted into the entertainer’s performances in the future.

Take a look at the Stormtroopers and R2-D2 as part of the performance of Billy Dee Williams on Dancing With the Stars. Dancing the cha-cha-cha to a Star Wars medley seemed so perfect.
