During the the NFL Network interview on Monday, Sept. 2, Tuel told Eric Davis and Mark Kriegel that because he does not have cable in his brand new home in Buffalo he watched college football at a local bar on Saturday. Jeff Tuel told Davis and Kriegel that a few fans recognized him and politely asked for his autograph. Jeff Tuel seems happy to be in his new home in Buffalo, saying:
“I thank God and give Him all the glory for being here.”
Tuel is excited by the possibility of starting at quarterback for the Buffalo Bills season opener against the New England Patriots on Sunday. Jeff was quick to point out that ultimately the decision of who to start at quarterback lies solely in head coach Doug Marrone’s hands. The NFL Network reported that Marrone will announce his decision on Wednesday regarding the starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills season opener.
The Buffalo Bills season opener has been sold out for months and can be seen on CBS starting at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8.
