The Bears play their home games at Soldier Field, located at 1410 S. Museum Campus Dr. in Chicago, Illinois. Originally opened in 1924, Soldier Field was closed for renovations from January 19th, 2002 until September 26th, 2003. Seating capacity for football is 63,500. The stadium is the former home of the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer and the Chicago Enforcers of the XFL among many other teams and events, including the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the 1999 Women’s World Cup.
