The Buffalo Bills head to New Orleans, Louisiana to take on the Saints on Sunday, October 27th; kick-off is at 1 p.m.
The Saints, established in 1967, are headquartered in Metairie, Louisiana and play their home games at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, located at 1500 Sugar Bowl Dr. in New Orleans. Ground was broken for the project in August 1971, with the stadium opening in August 1975. Current seating capacity for the stadium is more than 73,000 spectators. The stadium, a host of seven Super Bowls – most recently in 2013 – also hosts two NCAA bowl games, the Sugar Bowl and the New Orleans Bowl, and the Bayou Classic, a regular-season game between Louisiana’s Grambling State and Southern Universities.
Part of the stadium experience is Champions Square, an outdoor festival venue which hosts concerts, parties and special events. The pre-game party at Champions Square before home games features live entertainment and opens three hours before game time. Club XLIV is also open for a pre-game party – your $10 admission includes one premium cocktail; food from Executive Chef Scott Boswell will also be available.
Concessions in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome are provided by Centerplate, with stands located throughout the stadium.
Just a few tickets remain for the Bills/Saints match-up in New Orleans; tickets are available through www.ticketmaster.com and range in price from $45 to $400 (plus taxes and fees).
