Billings Studio Theatre performs The Best Christmas Pageant Ever in December

The Billings Studio Theatre will be performing "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" from Dec. 6 to 21, 2013. The play is adapted from 1971 children's book of the same name by Barbara Robinson.

"The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" tells the tale of the six Herdman children, the worst kids ever, who join the local church Christmas pageant. Unsurprisingly, mayhem erupts as the lying, stealing, bullying brood play the familiar characters from the Christmas story.

The Billings Studio Theatre has been performing plays in the Billings community since the 1950s. It has been at its current home at 1500 Rimrock Road since 1971. The company will be performing nine productions during the 2013 and 2014 season including Disney's "Aladdin Jr." and "Shrek the Musical."

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will be performed on Dec. 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20 and 21, 2013. Evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Matinee performances will run on Dec. 8, 14, 15, and 21 at 2 p.m. Ticket prices are $17 for adults and $14 for students. They can be purchased at the Billings Studio Theatre box office or at the theater website.
