Billboard Latin Music Awards confirms more artists to perform

With the Billboard Latin Music Awards a few weeks away, more performers were confirmed yesterday to celebrate its 15th anniversary. The annual award show will be broadcasted live Thursday, April 25 from BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Fla.

Added to the list from Puerto Rico are Tito 'El Bambino' and urban singer Daddy Yankee, salsa singer Marc Anthony, the bachata king Romeo Santos, regional Mexican singer Roberto Tapia, and Dominican singer Juan Luis Guerra. They join the stellar list of artists already announced which includes Colombian Vallenato singer Carlos Vives who made a phenomenal comeback the latter part of last year as well as Mexico’s singer and actress Lucero.

A few of this year’s nominees are also on the performance lineup which includes Puerto Rican Don Omar who for the second year has the most nominations (18), Michel Telo the first Brazilian to be nominated in 6 categories, Mexico’s La Arrolladora Banda el Limon de Rene Camacho and Gerardo Ortiz also up for six nominations each.
