There are two new entrants to the Christian chart this week. Holy hip-hop group W.A.L.K. debuts at #6 with their self-titled album. W.A.L.K. also debuted #1 on the Gospel Albums chart. Bethel Music’s first all instrumental, full-length CD, “Without Words” makes its debut at #10. The rankings were announced Thursday, March 14.
Hillsong United stays on top of the chart with “Zion,” their third studio recording and Chris Tomlin’s “Burning Lights” comes in at #2. American Idol contestant Angela Miller may have contributed to Colton Dixon’s "A Messenger" climb to #1 with her powerful performance his single, "Never Gone."
Jeremy Camp is #4 with “Reckless” and “Release the Panic” from Red takes the #5 spot. Some albums moved up the chart this week. Third Day’s "Miracle" is #14, Rhett Walker Band moves up to #23 with “Come to the River,” for King & Country’s “Crave” is #25 and Guy Penrod moves up to #31 with “Hymns.”
