Bill Nye got eliminated from Dancing With the Stars on Monday night after the second round of dancing. The injured contestant had plenty of fan support, but the DWTS judges weren't so impressed. Even after being cut, Bill Nye was pleased to be part of the show and publically thanks DWTS pro dancer Tyne Stecklein.
“Couldn't have done any of this without @TyneStecklein. She is the real star. I am so grateful. #HotKnowledge #DWTS,” tweeted Bill Nye from his official Twitter account. The entertainer seemed to be sad he cut his pro dancing partner too, especially since this was her first year as a judge.
While the injury on the first show was painful, it appeared that Bill Nye might make another week. Well, that was the theory before the judges scored the routine on Monday night. Unable to move well, the star got low scores and then an escort to the door as Bill Nye was eliminated.
Will Bill Nye be back for the season finale in the weeks ahead? Hopefully! The fans would love to see him again so he needs to rest up to be ready
