There's no nice way to say this; People are sick! Yes, there are people in this world who find it entertaining to video horrific and disgusting acts of animal cruelty, and then sell copies of their depravity for profit! I have very specific ideas on what to do with such people, but the law of the land says I cannot pursue these thoughts to fruition.
With keeping to the legal side of the road in mind, HR5566, a bill that will make interstate commerce of such videos illegal, has passed through the House of Representatives, been passed by Senate with an amendment, and is now back in the hands of the House to reconcile both versions of the bill. God willing, this bill will not take much longer to be reviewed and agreed upon so it may be sent up to the president who will sign it into law.
Congress needs to hear from you! Please click here to sign a petition asking our representatives to complete the process, and end the delay that allows sick minded individuals to continue to prosper while harming innocent animals.
The Animal Rescue site is working hard getting your words to lawmakers ears. Please help bring the rights of animals not to suffer at the hands of crush filmmakers to the desk of the president. Don't let criminals prosper!
