Bill Horn and Scout Masterson a.k.a. "The Guncles" are married. On July 5, People Magazine reported that the couple -- who have been together for over ten years -- went to the Van Nuys Courthouse last Wednesday to tie the knot just days after Proposition 8 was overturned in Calif.
"We're excited to share that we got legally married this week! After over a decade of being a couple, the ability to legally marry is a huge milestone for our family – and all other LGBT families out there. We couldn't be more thrilled," the couple said in a statement to People.
"The Guncles" relied on BFF Tori Spelling to plan an amazing wedding in Palm Springs. While they were planning a big wedding with all of the bells and whistles, Scout Masterson and Bill Horn didn't want to take any chances. As soon as the law was deemed unconstitutional, they took their daughter and went to the courthouse. Simone, 3, was right in the middle of her two dads for a happy memory that they will never forget.
"On Monday we spent nearly five hours at the Van Nuys courthouse waiting in line to receive our marriage certificate, and we took the first available time to be legally married," Masterson said.
