For quite some time now, Bill Goldberg has had interest in returning to WWE, but contract talks have always ended up breaking down. The former WWE and WCW World Heavyweight Champion appeared on the Ross Report on May 21, 2014, and told Jim Ross that he is still interested in heading back to the ring one day, and also who he would like to face.
Goldberg has confirmed that he recently had talks with WWE about a comeback, but they didn't end up going very far. He let Ross know that he has expressed his interest in returning to WWE and still would like to do just that.
It's been said numerous times in the past by Goldberg that he would like his family to see him wrestle live and he knows he's still able to compete at a high level.
Upon returning to WWE, if it ever were to happen, Goldberg talked with Ross about the possible return feuds he would like and other names he'd like to face.
Goldberg said that he'd love to step back into the ring with Triple H or Brock Lesnar. It was actually Lesnar who was Goldberg's last feud in WWE as they faced off in a match at "WrestleMania XX" back in 2004.
The big man also let Ross know that he would like to face off with Roman Reigns in WWE. Reigns is a young up-and-comer who is a part of The Shield, and both he and Goldberg use the Spear as a finishing move.
