Bill Gates is speaking out about the gay ban and he feels like it should be lifted. On March 14, ABC News posted about his thoughts on the ban by the Boy Scouts of America.
They will not allow someone who is openly gay into the Boy Scouts of America. This keeps a lot of people from being there and has even kept people who have worked hard from getting their rewards. Bill used to be a Boy Scout years ago.
When he was asked if he thought this ban should be lifted, he said "absolutely." He doesn't see a problem with the relationships that people have and doesn't think it should affect if they can be in this group or not. He says that it is now 2013 and that you don't run a business like that now. Bill does not agree with how they are doing things.
