Bill Clinton talked about aliens with Jimmy Kimmel on the April 2 episode of the late night talk show. According to ABC News, former President Bill Clinton admitted that he "wouldn't be surprised" if aliens existed. Clinton told Kimmel that he had his aides research Area 51... you know, to "make sure" there weren't any aliens hanging out there.

"I had all the Roswell papers reviewed – everything," Clinton said. "If we were visited someday I wouldn’t be surprised. I just hope it’s not like 'Independence Day,'" Clinton told Kimmel. Clinton said that his aides didn't find anything suspicious (i.e. no alien activity) at Area 51 in Nevada.

Bill Clinton might welcome aliens, in fact, as he believes that they could actually help the "divided world" that we live in. It's quite interesting to think about and really interesting to hear coming from a former commander in chief. A world with aliens living amongst humans could be something the future will see -- do you believe in extraterrestrial entities?

"It may be the only way to unite this increasingly divided world of ours … think about all the differences among people of Earth would seem small if we feel threatened by a space invader," Clinton said.

Does Bill Clinton know more about aliens than he says? What are your thoughts on Area 51?
