Bilingual Foundation of the Arts at Leuzinger High School

The cast of the Bilingual Foundations of the Arts will present an adaptation of “El Lazarillo de Tormes” at Leuzinger High School’s Rice Auditorium. BFA, a theater company based in Los Angeles, is the only one that presents its plays in English and Spanish The presentation is on Friday March 1, 2013 at 6:30 pm.

El Lazarillo de Tormes is a classic Spanish novel where the protagonist is an anti-hero. A precocious, mischievous boy, who spends his childhood going from master to master and adventures he has with them.

In a community outreach effort The Bilingual Foundation of the Arts brings theater to the community in general and to high school students taking Advanced Placement Literature classes in particular.
