Doug Guller recently announced that Bikinis, Texas is celebrating its first anniversary and will hold a celebration on Saturday, July 19 with live music, a BBQ cook-off and a bikini pageant. Doug Guller is the founder and CEO of Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill, one of the nation’s fastest growing sports bar and grill chains and the only official breastaurant® franchise.

The town formerly known as Bankersmith, Texas is located five miles from Luckenbach and 10 minutes from Fredericksburg. It was purchased in July 2012 by Doug Guller and he renamed it Bikinis, Texas after the restaurant and made “The Most Beautiful Place On Earth” the town slogan.

National Bikinis Day will include a full day of live music at Güller Hall featuring an acoustic set by Luke Olson at 3p.m. and acoustic set by Rick O’Toole at 5p.m. a DJ Set at 7p.m. and a full set by Leopold and His Fiction at 9p.m.

There will also be a bikini pageant and a BBQ cook-off with 20 teams competing. The teams will be competing with recipes for beef brisket, pork spare ribs, and chicken with the cooking being done on site at Bikinis, Texas. The judging will be from 12p.m. through 2p.m. and the winner of the first annual BBQ winner will be announced then. At 7p.m. the main outdoor stage will be the site for the bikini pageant with 19 contestants competing for the grand prize.

All ages are admitted and general admission is $10 with wristbands for the anniversary celebration available at the gate. Check online to purchase tickets online or for more information regarding Bikinis, Texas and Güller Hall.
