Well, it’s about a week before Christmas. What did you wrap up for your biker this year? If you’re the type that has your motorcycle winterized right away and put into storage right after Labor Day, then maybe you’re one of the few stress-free people at this time of the year and you’re all done with holiday preparations. Or…maybe you’re like the majority of us who still have three million things to do before midnight on December 25.
Bikers around this time of the year are already missing their warm, sunny-day rides, and need something to remind them that those days will be back before we know it!
The November/December issue of New York Rider Magazine came out just a few weeks ago but it might be worth taking a look inside for some ideas. For example, there’s a Christmas coupon for $5 off an one-year online/print subscription, which would bring the total to $25. I see a $10 coupon for custom-printed T-shirts at CNY Shirts (for orders of $60 or more), which isn’t a bad idea for a Christmas gift when you think about it (anyone who owns a business or maybe someone who is planning a family reunion). All the Harley dealerships have holiday specials – Adirondack HD and FX Caprara have plenty of gifts under $25, and Spitzies here in Albany has extended hours for the upcoming holidays!
SPITZIE’S HOLIDAY HOURS:
Wed Dec.18th – 9am to 7pm
Thu Dec.19th – 9am to 7pm
Fri Dec.20th – 9am to 6pm
Sat Dec.21st – 9am to 4pm
Sun Dec. 22nd – Noon to 4pm
Mon Dec. 23rd – 9am to 7pm
Tue Dec. 24th – 9am to 2pm
Of course, it’s never too late to call Petrocelli Photography for a motorcycle photo shoot gift certificate and of course my book, The Gloves Come Off is always available online at Barnes and Noble and Amazon and should fit in any stocking!
Whatever ends up under your tree, be thankful that you are there to enjoy it, sit back and wait for that 45 degree day in January that you KNOW is going to come (it always happens in NY, you know it does) and sigh, happily, knowing that the best is yet to come!
