The NYPD arrested another biker on Oct. 5 in connection with the biker gang beating of SUV driver Alexian Lien, 22, last weekend on New York City’s West Side Highway.
The driver of the SUV’s wife, Rosalyn Ng , who was also in the vehicle along with the couple’s 2-year-old daughter, said that the family:
… had been planning to celebrate their wedding anniversary with their 2-year-old daughter on Sunday afternoon, but instead they were swarmed by a motorcycle rally ... ~ CBS News
On Saturday, police arrested biker Reginald Chance and charged him with first-degree gang assault, first-degree assault, and criminal mischief in connection with the assault on Alexian Lien, according to Fox News.
Also yesterday, another biker, Robert Sims, 35, of Brooklyn, was “arraigned Saturday in Manhattan on charges of first-degree gang assault, first-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.”
Sims’ bail was set at $100,000.
To date, three bikers have been formally charged in connection with the assault on Alexian Lien and his SUV.
One biker, who stopped his motorcycle in front of Lien’s vehicle, was seriously injured in the incident.
Police are continuing to review video of the assault, hoping to identify more of the bikers.
