Denison and Puritas Avenue Public Meetings

There are plans for a roadway facelift of Puritas Avenue between Rocky River Dr. to W. 130th St.) and Denison Avenue (SR-176 and Ridge Road) with plans to make it safer for cyclists with added bike lanes.

Tonight (Thursday, January 9, 2014) at 6:30 p.m. there will be a community meeting to discuss these changes. Bike Cleveland needs you to show up and voice your support for the bike enhancing changes. The meeting’s purpose is to present the plans to the public in order to get feedback. This is where you come in. Attend and show support for safer streets for cyclists.

The Denison Avenue meeting is at 6:30pm on Thursday, January 9th at Sachsenheim Hall (7001 Denison Ave.)

The Puritas Avenue meeting is at 6:30pm on Tuesday, January 14th at St. Joseph Center (4370 W. 140th St. Cleveland, OH 44135).

The Beachland Ballroom is the site for the January 19, 2014 Bike Cleveland annual meeting. Leaders from Bike Cleveland will be on hand to share the accomplishments of 2013 as well as the plans for 2014. This is your chance to be the first to hear what is upcoming in Cleveland. Register today

After the official meeting, feel free to stay and socialize and sing karaoke on the Beachland Ballroom Stage as well as mingle with Bike Cleveland leaders. Light appetizers will be provided. The meeting will be held from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Beachland Ballroom located at 15711 Waterloo Road, Cleveland, Ohio.

The annual meeting and social is open to the public and is free to Bike Cleveland members, $15 for non-members.
