The Gathering On the Grounds kicks off Tuesday, April 12 with food, music and fellowship for motorcycle, classic car, scooter and vehicle lovers of all kinds, from 6-10 p.m. at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Des Moines' east side. Food and beverage vendors will be available. The event is free to attend.
Vehicles can enter through the Main Gate on E. 30th or the E. 33rd St. gate; parking begins at 5 pm.
Spectator parking is available on the Midway.
The Gathering on the Grounds will be held on Tuesday evening throughout the Spring and Summer, except for most of August which is State Fair time. Dates are shown below; for more info, visit the Gathering website at http://www.thegatheringonthegrounds.com.
