'Biggest Loser' season 14 week 6 recap: Roll the dice

Tonight, Bob Harper's team faced a first in season 14 -- the "Biggest Loser" elimination room. And Jackson? Well, the puking continues.

The contestants entered the gym to find their faces on huge pairs of dice. Alison greeted them and told them they had reached the halfway point (halfway already?). The reason for the fluffy dice? The trainers would be rolling the dice at the weigh-in and the face that comes up will be the only person on the teams to have their weekly weight count.

Then Bob had to talk Gina off an emotional ledge. Fear has kept her from fully living life, and the pressure of the weigh-in was getting to her. “Aren't you sick of being afraid?” Bob asked Gina and the rest of his team.

Dolvett had a talk with Jackson about his stress in the gym.

“I’d just like to get through a workout without throwing up!” Jackson said.

Jackson, we’d all like that.

But Jackson and Dolvett had a great talk about bullying, self-esteem and rising above it all.

The challenge: An obstacle course of calorie counting and giant battering rams! They have to traverse across elevated beams while swinging battering rams get in their way. At the other side are plates with calorie counts and they have to match those plates with giant pictures of various foods.

But first, an update on Pam: She’s sassy, sassy, sassy in her photo shoot and she is looking great at 65 pounds down.

Back to the challenge: We can only imagine how many hours this challenge took with Jackson, Danni and Gina constantly getting knocked off their beams. Danni was the first to move five plates across the beams. Unfortunately, all her calorie counts were wrong. But on her third try, she got all the calories correct, and her prize was letters from home.

Teen update: Sunny got to play P.E. teacher at school, leading her classmates in a fitness circuit. The smile on her face lit up the room. Biingo has an activity club with 10 of his friends, and their goal is to get more members. They meet every Saturday morning at a local park to take part in active play. Lindsay spoke to classmates about bullying and then OMG CODY SIMPSON! The Aussie teen singing star performed for the kids and gave them a little pep talk.

Jillian took Danni to a parcour gym where she tried her hand at leaping and jumping over things. She also had Danni leap into a giant foam pit.

Quote of the week, from Jillian: “Feel the fear and do it anyway.”

Cody Simpson wasn’t the only celebrity this week. Laila Ali joined Dolvett and the red team in a boxing workout. (She really needs to do a boxing workout DVD.)

Weigh-in: Everyone weighs in, but only one person’s weight from each team will count. Dolvett rolled the die and chose Joe. Bob chose Jeff, and Jillian had only one face on her die – Danni. How’d everyone do?

RED TEAM

  • Jackson: 1
  • Francelina: 7
  • Joe: 8

WHITE TEAM

  • Danni: 6

BLUE TEAM

  • Gina: 4
  • Alex: 3
  • Michael: 8
  • David: 3
  • Jeff: 6

Elimination: Joe’s 8-pound loss puts the blue team in the elimination room for the first time ever. Michael is immune because he had the highest percentage of weight loss on the blue team. David was seen as a big threat and he was eliminated.

The update: David is down 87 pounds and looks dramatically different.

Next week: Singles week starts! No more red, white and blue teams. Taste the rainbow!
