Oops, she did it again. On the Dec. 10 episode of "The Biggest Loser," trainer Jillian Michaels let go with the mother of all meltdowns. (We hope her children weren't taking notes on how to emulate mommy.) Plus: We check in with Ruben Studdard and Dolvett Quince steps up to help a child suffering from obesity. Get the ultimate recap here.
The episode began with always cheerful Alison Sweeney dishing the news from a diner. She reveals the bad news: Whichever team loses will have to work there all week in addition to exercising and eating right amid temptation.
The White Team loses, and get to work while the other teams tell the trainers what happened. Jillian is infuriated (the show's physician should check her blood pressure during these meltdowns) and lets the world know just how she feels.
Perhaps hoping to lure viewers to stay for the rest of the show, the producers treat us to a check-in with Ruben. He's lost weight, is working on his album and has set a goal of getting below 300 pounds before the grand finale.
The Red Team expresses appreciation for Dolvett, who quietly but firmly has been changing their lives. He makes it clear that he appreciates their gratitude.
Bob Harper's Blue Team is more morose than usual. Hap gets the rap for failing to show big numbers on the scale.
In a flashback from last season, when children with obesity were featured, Dolvett talks about helping one contestant's daughter, who is overweight. He sets goals for her.
And now it's weigh-in time. Jillian, as always, looks as if the weight of the world is on her shoulders, Bob appears stern and Dolvett seems hopeful.
Did the Blue Team have ESP? They end up failing to meet the weight loss success of the other teams, and Bobby heads home.
