In its two hour season premiere Planet Fitness provided the gym equipment and gave each contestant a membership to take with them once they go home. The first episode provides a look at how the kids should be active outside and working at home as well. The kids will be at the ranch for only one week to learn some values and tips on how they can work on their weight loss journey from home and continuing on.

Jillian is as feisty as ever in this first episode. Every time they began to quit Jillian was there pushing them further and harder so they would be able to reach their goals. While her approach is more hands on, she does have a softer side that is to show them they will be able to reach their goals with hard work and determination.

The first challenge is to find letters inside of a ball pit that spell out the special phrase “The Biggest Loser.” The kids have to be up in the air suspended to show the adults where to find the letters from above. Through the power of teamwork the teams must compete to try and be the first to spell out the words. The trick was, they had to go through a giant ball pit.

At the end of the challenge the white team won receiving a five pound advantage on the weigh in. The kids do get sent back home, but will be returning for other challenges and weigh-ins.

There is no yellow this time, but a red line. Whoever has the lowest amount of weight loss on the losing team is sent home.

The White Team Weigh in:

TC: 361 lbs

Pam: 227 lbs

Nathan: 339 lbs

Danni: 239 lbs

Total: 69 lbs lost

The Red Team Weigh In:

Lisa: 230 lbs

Jackson: 306 lbs

Francelina: 248 lbs

Cate: 225 lbs

Joe: 338 lbs

Total: 95 lbs

The Blue Team Weigh In:

Jeff: 359 lbs

Michael: 423 lbs

David: 287 lbs

Alex: 231 lbs

Gina: 230 lbs

Total: 94 lbs

With the red line in play the biggest loser that has been sent home was TC. Jillian reminds him that he is a successful person and will reach all his goals.
