There are few places in downtown Lexington where you can grab a drink and a bite on a late Sunday night. Actually, there is only one place on Sundays where you can do both.

And Bigg Blue Martini is that place! Blue Martini is the lounge of the Lexington Downtown Hotel (a Hilton hotel) and located across the street from Triangle Park and Rupp Arena. They are open until 1:00am on Sundays and serve food until 12:00am which is perfect for those who want a late night snack and a delicious drink. They offer a great late night menu with appetizers that include Crispy Calamari and Potstickers. Or, if you're hungry for something a little more filling you can dive into their amazing French Cut Pork Chops. Either way you'll leave satisfied! Even if you're not in the mood for food Bigg Blue Martini is still the perfect place for a Sunday night hangout. A nice relaxed and calm environment combined with the martini of your choice will end the week on a fabulous note. So, if you're ever looking for something to do on a Sunday evening that involves alcohol and/or great grub pay a visit to Bigg Blue Martini.

However, Sundays shouldn't be the only time you drop in to say hello. Every Friday and Saturday night Bigg Blue Martini showcases talented live music artists for your enjoyment. Coming up in the month of April are musicians such as -- Willie Eames, Kevin Cruise and Jason England -- just to name a few. (Check out the 'events' section of their site to locate exact dates.)

As indicated by their name Bigg Blue Martini should host a large number of tasty martini options and they do. They have their mascot martini - The Bigg Blue Martini and others like: The Secretariat, The Bing and El Diablo. So it seems Blue Martini has it all figured out --- fabulous food, drinks and entertainment. Check them out, taste test a martini, grab a meal or listen to the music!
