Bigfoot spotted in Seligman Arizona, Larry Jenkins, a local resident and avid hunter has been having a series of events on his property. Over the past 3 years the encounters have increased, culminating in 2009 with an incident that lead to the finding of a possible toenail from the creature.
Larry purchased the parcel 15 years prior and has slowly been improving the grounds and building a cabin on the property. When his deck was only partially finished he found a giant hand print on a window that is 8'-9' off the ground. After an exhausting day of building a roof for that very deck, on what was a cold November night in 2008, Larry experienced another encounter. A creature walked out of the woods and stood next to his cabin's heat exhaust pipe warming itself, well Larry trembled inside. Larry felt the ground shake with every step and heard what to him sounded like something walking on two feet? It left and later returned, before retreating the same way it came.
A few months later the creature again stood next to the cabin before it walked off through the wash below. Later Larry and a friend found what appeared to be a possible toenail in the wash. This wash and area below the cabin is covered with volcanic rocks and cacti. The creature again stood next to the cabin's heat exhaust, before retreating into the wash. This time after a few minutes Larry heard a chilling vocalization come from the direction of wash. Later he investigated the wash with a friend. That friend (name withheld) found a large jagged rock covered with what looked like dried blood and some skin matter. Sitting right next to that rock was a larger than life toenail!
Mitochondrial DNA testing was done. Preliminary results latter came back as 98% human and 2% unknown primate! A research team made up of investigators from both sides of the country spent last fall at the property, and will do so again this year. So far there have been no further incidents. This team did find some additional evidence in the form of fort prints.
This past winter, February 2010 on the northwest side of Seligman, AZ another resident saw what he described as a large hairy humanoid creature walk over a rise before disappearing into the brush. An investigation into that sighting proved inconclusive, but research in the area is continuing. Recently the team has found what looks like "Indian Rock Drawings" on the property. Some of the drawings showed what looked like a creature standing on two legs; others showed what looked like a humanoid in a space suit? The investigation continues, look for future updates to follow.
