Bigfoot Hunters VS Bigfoot Researchers Part 3

Bigfoot Hunters VS Bigfoot Researchers (Continued Report to MogollonMonster.com and AZCRO)

I was asked why cast the footprints, it was a waste of time.  I’ve been told the Bigfoot were probably watching me cast the print and I was just teaching sasquatch they had left something behind in which I was interested in obtaining.  Thus, teaching them not to leave tracks.

My answer to the above paragraph is, I don’t have enough casts.  Yes, there is a possibility I was watched, and on previous occasions I have left casts to harden overnight only to come back and find the casts to be turned over or moved. Not a one of the casts have been broken or taken. As far as we could tell there were no other humans in the area overnight.   The watchers seemed to know exactly what I was doing, and they didn’t care.   The next morning there were more prints.  It seems the more I work in the field, the more friendly “They” seem to become.  It is almost as if they are I intrigued by the activity.

I find it hard to understand the attitude of not collecting every bit of data that we can find on the Bigfoot species, and there is more than one way to collect data.  All evidence/data can be used to identify our biped friends without ever seeing them.

In the future, if Bigfoot is ever officially recognized as a species, it will be instantly placed on the endangered and protected species list. Of course, the Feds, State, and Academic folks will want to study these creatures. Everyone else will be prohibited. That means no more Bigfooting as we know it.  If Bigfoot Researchers of today don't realize this, they will simply be pushed out and quickly forgotten.

Thinking of the future Bigfoot Research? We need to break away from the typical photo seeking session and get down to brass tacks. We need to start looking at the big picture and start filling in the blanks. We need to be looking at the hard specific questions as to how many, how often do they birth, gestation period, life span, social structures, language, compatible foods, body tolerances for heat and cold. And, we need to be looking at innovative and non-evasive ways to collect this data and documenting it in an acceptable form for the scientific world.
