Bigfoot hunter photo: Rick Dyer claims he has killed a real Bigfoot

A Bigfoot hunter photo that was just released is generating a lot of buzz, but what is the truth behind the photo? WSB TV shared the photo and the story about Rick Dyer's hunt on Jan. 7.

Rick Dyer claims to have shot and killed Bigfoot in San Antonio. He's spoken about the supposed incident, but until now he never provided any kind of photographic proof other than a grainy video. Now the Bigfoot hunter photo has been made available.

Despite the documentary “Shooting Bigfoot,” most people remain skeptical of Dyer's claims. The creature was killed outside Dyer's tent in September 2012, he says, and he has just recently been able to reclaim the body of the creature.

So just what is it that Dyer shot? He remains convinced that it was Bigfoot. He says, “Every test that you can possibly imagine was performed on this body.” He says there were body scans, 3D optical scans and DNA tests performed. He hasn't revealed details about what the tests found other than to say, “It's Bigfoot and Bigfoot's here, and I shot it and now I'm proving it to the world.”

KSAT reveals that Dyer gave about 100 people the chance to see the creature's body up close, and he says he made them believers. Now that the Bigfoot hunter photo has been released, it seems a press conference is up next. Dyer even says he plans to take the body on tour down the road. Of course, he will charge a small fee for people to see it. Just what is the creature? Could Rick Dyer have actually found Bigfoot? Most remain skeptical, but many will be following Dyer's story to see just what comes next on this one.
