We live in a world where the “pictures or it didn’t happen” mindset has become prevalent. But thanks to software like Photoshop and all those “reality” shows with videos doctored for effect, pictures and videos are no longer considered proof of the existence of something controversial.
And that is precisely what is getting the finding of the Sasquatch Genome Project slammed by the scientific community. The project is funded by the The Erickson Project owned by millionaire businessman Adrian Erickson.
The project’s members held a press conference in Dallas on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, where the research group unveiled what they dubbed definitive proof that the mythical Bigfoot exists.
The group claims that they spent nearly half a million dollars over the course of the last five years collecting DNA samples and HD video of the creature as it crawled through the woods in Kentucky.
Erickson told the news media present at the event that people have chosen not to believe in the existence of such creatures though the Sasquatch Genome Project was able to use footprint collection, video and thermal imagery to track thousands of these alleged creature all over the US, including a pair that the group believed were mother and daughter.
Group leader and veterinarian Dr. Melba Ketchum claims that these creatures are a sort of human-hybrid and calls them a “type of people” judging by DNA evidence.
She claims that these beings tend to elude humans, which make getting videos of them very difficult. However, mainstream scientific community has rubbished the group’s findings as scientific journals have completely refused to publish their findings.
