Bigen Hair - Japan's Best-Kept Secret (Photos)

I love my hair -- its probably my favorite feature so I make sure to keep it in peak condition! Well, I have one exception -- my love of blonde hair can have me a bit damaged. But thanks to Bigen, I was able to test out their product line with naturally derived ingredient from botanical sources. Here are my thoughts:

The Big Surprise:

The Protect & Repair Shampoo ($5) and Deep Conditioner ($2) was a wonderful surprise! Natural is the way to go, but many times their ability to nourish and protect damaged hair leaves me lacking. Well not Bigen -- the shampoo was incredible and the conditioner was event better if that is possible. I tried it the other day, and kept the deep conditioner in for about 30 minutes and it was incredibly soft and supple! Even the next day, my hair was easy to style and oh so soft! What's it secret? Rice water (yes you heard right!) and sunflower oil. Those ancient secrets repair internal and external damage to the hair and scalp.

My Day To Day Go To:

It's winter! My hair is doing crazy things that even I don't understand! Oh jeez! I have been loving the Polishing Serum ($6). Just a little bit and on the ends of my hair does the best job at taming flyaways and frizz. It is infused with shea butter which makes may hair moveable, soft, and shiny.

For A Night Out:

I've never seen a product like this. It's a spray called Sheen Spray ($5) that combines sunflower oil and shea butter but in a sprayable form. I used this, this past weekend after I got all dolled up and then before walking out the door -- did a quick spray on my hair to make sure it stayed as utter perfection all night.

These products are a great go to. A nice price point as they all are under $10 and are available at www.bigen-usa.com. They even have their own line of all natural hair dyes too!
