The 2013 Big Ten tournament brackets are almost ready. The final Big Ten tournament brackets will be set when four important games are played out on Sunday (March 10). Those games include Wisconsin vs. Penn State, Illinois vs. Ohio State, Indiana vs. Michigan, and Northwestern vs. Michigan State. The excitement level is pretty high for conference fans, with the top four seeds still unsettled.
NCAA Tournament Seeding Predictions
The Indiana Hoosiers are the only team guaranteed a bye heading into Sunday, with Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Wisconsin batting for seeds two through five. Three teams will get byes and the fourth school will have to play on the first day of the tournament on Thursday (March 14). It makes every game left in the regular season extremely important for the conference.
If one of the highly ranked teams can win the Big Ten Championship Game, a No. 1 seed in the 2013 NCAA Tournament could be waiting. This makes seeding in the 2013 Big Ten tournament brackets even more important. This is why all four games on the Big Ten schedule are receiving television coverage, with CBS giving huge billing to the No. 2 Indiana Hoosiers vs. No. 7 Michigan Wolverines game.
As the games are played out, the brackets will start to get really filled out below.
