It never fails that NCAA men's basketball delivers magic on nights when the occasion is there. On the evening of Jan. 15, 2013, the University of Wisconsin Badgers proved once again that they are always a threat with an impressive 64-59 road victory over No.2 ranked Indiana in Bloomington.
Indiana had the lead at the half by one point at 31-32, but a hard fought second half saw the visitors pull away and thanks to excellent performances for their key players the Badgers made another push to break into the top 25 in next week's new rankings.
Ryan Evans led the way for the Badgers with 13 points and eight rebounds while a strong showing from Sam Dekker of 10 points, four rebounds and a block off the bench helped give the visiting team the edge.
Cody Zeller of Indiana continued to prove why he is such a highly rated potential NBA prospect for the next draft class as the 7-foot-tall sophomore dominated with 23points and 10 rebounds with an impressive double double.
However, it was not enough in the end and the truth of that matter from the statistics is that Wisconson's 16 points from the bench compared to Inidiana's two points from substitutions made a long story short for where the true difference was made.
