This week will be a little more active than last week with some rain Monday morning and some more rain (snow in mountains) Wednesday night. The middle and end of this week will be cooler than the beginning of the week.
Next week could be very exciting! All eyes are still on the potential for a big snowstorm around March 2-3. It is still on the computer models with pressure as low as 983 mb (like a hurricane). Could this be a repeat of the SuperStorm back in March 1993? I am sure there will be changes, but it is a feature that has been on the models for days now so I am starting to get excited. Since 1965, it has snowed 4 times at the Greenville Spartanburg airport on March1, 2, or 3 (including last year). Could this be storm number 5??? I will provide updates as new information comes in, but winter is not over yet. There is definitley a fresh batch of cold air on the way for March. At least the warm up will be sooner since the March sun is pretty intense.
