Rapper Big Sean and Adidas have teamed up yet again to collaborate on exclusive sneakers. The new kicks, which avid sneakerheads surely cannot wait to add to their collections, are set to be released on Saturday, Sept. 13. This is now the third time the rapper and Adidas have come together to put out new footwear. After releasing Pro Models the past two times, this year’s collaborative effort is called the Metro Attitude.
The new Big Sean-Adidas collaboration features the brand’s trademark three stripes on the sides. The unique design features a snake-skin pattern covered with multicolor floral decorations. Adidas’ trademark trefoil logo is located on the heel. Big Sean’s signature Finally Famous lion logo is located on the back of the tongue. The sneakers, which are mostly black, have white bottoms.
On Wednesday, Aug. 20, Big Sean posted the teaser ad for the new kicks on his Instagram. Click here to see it. Two days later, he took to his Instagram again to post a picture of himself wearing the sneakers. Click here to see it.

Both of Big Sean’s previous collaborations with Adidas were well received. After the sold-out success of the first Big Sean-Adidas effort in 2012, they teamed up last year for the second time. The follow-up effort, the Pro Model II, was released on Aug. 31, 2013, just four days after the release of Big Sean’s second album Hall of Fame. Expect this latest release to be similar to the ones before it.
Big Sean was born in California but raised in Detroit, Mich. His real name is Sean Michael Anderson. He got his start in the music industry working at Detroit’s hip-hop radio station Hot 102.7 (now Hot 107.5) while in high school. Being from the Motor City, he is a fan and supporter of many local sports teams, including the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings. He is signed to G.O.O.D. Music.
