News that Ronnie Coleman was hospitalized is spreading rapidly. It’s believed he is in the hospital for a spinal injury, and Coleman awaits the results of a myelogram.
A myelogram uses a special dye (dye test) and X-rays to make pictures of the bones and the fluid space between the bones of the spinal column. A myelogram is used to check these symptoms:
The cause of arm or leg numbness, weakness, or pain
Narrowing of the spinal canal
A tumor or infection causing problems with the spinal cord or nerve roots
A spinal disc that has ruptured; herniated disk
Inflammation of the membrane that covers the brain and spinal cord
Problems with the blood vessels to the spine

Coleman, who is long seen as one of the best bodybuilders of all time, is an eight time Mr. Olympia. Since his reign as Mr. Olympia, Coleman launched an online nutrition company in 2011.
In June, Coleman stated “It's an online nutrition company and not my actual line of supplements, that will be released in a couple months." His company is called Ronnie Coleman Nutrition and offers an array of supplements to anyone interested in health and wellness, or fitness and exercise.
