Big Modified show on tap this weekend at Wild Bill's

The top dirt modified racers from throughout the Rocky Mountain region will converge on Wild Bill’s Raceway this Saturday night under the lights for the Wild Bill’s Modified Shootout presented by Medical Management Solutions, and Main Street Garage of Tooele with associate sponsors BlackHawkDiesel.com, Addiction Chassis and Magic Graphics.

The tricky 3/8-mile dirt oval is located in central Utah just 8 miles north of Ephriam, UT along Highway 89, formerly known as Horseshue Mountain Raceway, and is operated by long-time racer “Wild Bill” Rowley. The race features a $1,500 winner’s check that will have the regions top Modified driver’s vying for one of 20 starting positions in the marquee event.  “There has never been such an exciting race here at Wild Bill’s” stated Bill Rowley, promoter. “The fans will be in for a great show this weekend.”

Some of the notable driver’s entered into the Wild Bill’s Modified Shootout include Justen Yeagar  who is coming off a great season with the Wild West Modified tour where he claimed the 2011 series championship.

Zane DeVilbiss, the 2010 IMCA National Champion and 2010 Wild West Modified Tour Champion, joins the action and is always a threat to win every where he races.  Long-time Utah asphalt racer turned dirt track champion, Ron Moser won the prestigious 2011 IMCA Utah State Champion and will be in action looking to put another crown on his 2011 campaign.

Also slated to be in action will be Michael Hale (Wild West Modified Tour main event winner, two time and 2011 Rocky Mountain Raceway Modified Champion), Bryan Wordleman (2010 ASA Weekly Racing Series National Champion and Rocky Mountain Raceway Modified Champion), Casey Delp (Coming in off of his most recent victory at the Castle County Clash in Price, UT),  Jeep Berry (Dirt late model Champion and accomplished dirt modified racer out of Colorado will be making the trek for the shootout), and Joe Miller (The 2009 Wild Bills Raceway Modified Champion and multiple main event winner. He is also a regular in the Rocky Mountain Challenge Late Model Series) will join the all-star field Saturday night.
