Here's a great way to celebrate the first weekend of spring. It's the 68th Annual ULTIMATE SPORT SHOW-GRAND RAPIDS, Thursday through Sunday, at DeVos Place, 303 Monroe NW, in downtown Grand Rapids.

More than 200 new fishing boats, pontoons, canoes and kayaks from a dozen dealers are in the show. More than 100 free, non-stop fishing and hunting seminars occur on 110,000-gallon Lake Ultimate, the new 5,000-gallon Hawg Trough and other stages.
Popular features including Big Buck Night West, by Michigan Out-of-Doors TV hosts Jimmy Gretzinger and Jenny Olsen, Ultimate Air Dogs, state championship competition and display by the Michigan Taxidermists Association, carving display featuring a world-champion carver by Woodland Woodcarvers, a trout pond with live trout, and antique fishing tackle displays are among many daily entertainment features.
