MINNEAPOLIS (September 19, 2011) – Three of America’s most delicious monsters, Count Chocula®, Franken Berry® and Boo Berry®,have made a highly anticipated return to grocery shelves for a limited time. Big G Monster Cereals bring a wave of nostalgia to loyal fans who have enjoyed the seasonal cereals for more than 40 years. Each vintage cereal will be available at retailers nationwide while supplies last.

Considered by some to be the most popular of the three monsters, Count Choculais a vampire who loveschocolate and is well recognized for his tagline, “I vant to eat your cereal!”First introduced in 1971, Count Chocula cereal combines chocolaty cereal made with whole grain corn and colorful marshmallow shapes.

Franken Berryis a cuddly, pink version of the Frankenstein monster who was introduced shortly after Count Chocula. This ghoul still wears the same clothes as when he was first created in 1971. Franken Berrycereal combines delicious strawberry-flavored cereal made with whole grain corn and colorful marshmallow shapes.

The youngest of the three monsters is Boo Berry, who was first introduced in 1973 as a blue ghost with a purple tie and hat. Boo Berrycereal has monstrous blueberry flavor by combining blueberry-flavored frosted cereal and colorful marshmallow shapes. This cereal is made with whole grain corn.
