BANGOR- The Ellsworth Eagles scored 29 points in the fourth quarter, including making 12 out of 14 free throws as they upset second seeded Camden Hills 71-62 in a class B quarterfinal game at Cross Insurance Center on Friday evening.
Camden Hills held a 45-42 lead entering the final quarter.
The Eagles scored the first six points of the fourth quarter and had the lead the rest of the way.
Freshman Bryce Harmon led the Eagles with 20 points, including 12-13 from the free throw line. Harmon went 6-6 from the line in the fourth quarter.
Ellsworth outscored Camden Hills 29-17 in the fourth quarter.
Nicholas Bagley scored 19 points (4-6 3-pointers), Bruce St. Peter added 10 points.
Griffin Nightingale came off the bench to fill up the stat sheet with eight points, eight rebounds, and three assists.
Ellsworth shot 22-33 from the free throw line for the game.
The Eagles came into the tournament as the number 10 seed.
They defeated #7 Medomak 47-44 in a preliminary round game thanks to Nightingale hitting a three pointer with three seconds remaining.

The Eagles split with the Coyotes during the regular season.
Chandler Crans led the Windjammers with 16 points and five rebounds. Jayson Kohn chipped in with 13 points.
John Hall added nine points. Terron Bailey and Colin Morse scored eight points each. Connor Graffam finished with six points and 10 rebounds.
Camden Hills finished with a record of 15-4.
