Big East tournament brackets 2013: Three schools tie for Big East title

The 2013 Big East tournament brackets are now ready for the fans. Tie-breakers within the Big East tournament brackets have become a pretty big deal, as Georgetown, Louisville, and Marquette each finished with a share of the regular season title with 14-4 records. Marquette did so with a surprise win on Saturday (March 9), clinching a share of the Big East title for some pretty dedicated fans.

NCAA Tournament Seeding Predictions

Georgetown becomes the No. 1 seed, Louisville is the No. 2 seed, and Marquette becomes the No. 3 seed in how the tie-breakers play out. That also leaves Pittsburgh as the No. 4 seed, with all of the top four seeds getting the double-bye into the quarterfinals next week. The games for them will begin on Thursday, March 14.

The first two games will be Seton Hall vs. USF and then Rutgers vs. DePaul on Tuesday (March 12) with the bottom four schools from the regular season standings playing it out to decide which schools advance to the second round of the tournament.
