Austin Technology Incubator (ATI) and the University of Texas Wireless Networking and Communications Group (WNCG) will co-host the 11th Annual Texas Wireless Summit (TWS) on Friday, October 18, at UT. Presentations and panels on big data analytics and wireless will feature speakers from Cisco, Deutsche Bank, Aster Teradata, Verizon, IBM, Phunware, Stanford, Cambridge, UT, Huawei and others.
According to the Texas Wireless Summit website, the event “[provides] a forum for industry leaders and academics to discuss emerging technologies and business models that will shape the industry over the upcoming two to three years.”
Schedule and registration
The Oct. 18 event begins at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at 6 p.m. and will be held in the University of Texas, O’Donnell Building for Applied Computational Engineering and Sciences.
The morning keynote featuring Tasso Argyros, CTO of Aster Teradata, is at 9 a.m., and the afternoon keynote by Per Enge, Director of Stanford GPS Laboratory, is at 1:30 p.m. TWS registration costs are $100 for WNCG alumni, affiliates and students and $175 for general admission.
