Online registration closes Tuesday, February 11, for The Big Chill Run.
Hearty winter runners will lace up their sneakers for The Big Chill Run on Sunday, February 16, at the Olympia Village Resort, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. The Big Chill Run is the fifth event in the six-race Great Lakes Multisport Winter Run Series.
The Big Chill running competitions include:
The 5K and 10K are both chip-timed events, with awards for the top finishers overall and in various age groups. The Kid’s Run is untimed, and all participants will receive finishers’ medals and event tees.
Post-race refreshments will be provided, along with indoor warming facilities before and after the race.
Several packet pick-up options are available for The Big Chill Run:
- Thursday, February 13 (10 a.m. – 7 p.m.) – Performance Running Outfitters – Brookfield
- Friday, February 14 (3 p.m. – 6 p.m.) – Performance Running Outfitters – Brookfield
- Saturday, Feb. 15(3 p.m. – 6 p.m.) – Olympia Village – Oconomowoc
- Sunday, Feb. 16th (8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.) – Olympia Village - Oconomowoc
Race-day registration may be available, if space allows.
Participants registering for The Big Chill Run before midnight on February 6 are guaranteed custom race bibs and commemorative race-day tee shirts. Runners pick gender-specific tech tees, unisex cotton tees, or earmarked donations (in lieu of tees) to Racers Against Childhood Cancer (RACC).
